Controlled Burn
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
A small prototype made for the 2020 GMTK Jam! Play as a fire and spread out of control using natural processes!
Create lightning strikes, cause localised heatwaves, and jump across gaps to burn the whole area.
Lightning - Strike a spot and watch the surrounding area burn
Jump - Cause a spark to shoot out of the flames, igniting a small area some distance away
Heatwave - A burst of hot air dries out an area of your choice, allowing flames to burn hotter and spread further!
The game is far from complete, and was originally planned to be a fight against the local fire department. I didn't have time to implement this, but the systems in place up to this point are pretty neat! Good to mess around with for a few minutes at any rate.
Thanks to Sam, @sammartin159 on twitter, for the original music! Wouldn't be a Team Dog? game without it.

Quite enjoyable, although i think a better description of some of the tools could have been helpful, for i was a it confused about heatwaves. The concepts was definitely there and that was some brilliant music.
Thanks for your comment! The game doesn't explain anything at all, and the heatwave is a little high concept to just 'get', so I'll add some descriptions to the game page.
